Phormium 'Back in Black' sits above Ophiopogon planiscapus 'Nigrescens'. Ornamental millet (Pennisetum glaucum) provides a good contrast for the striped leaves of Miscanthus sinensis 'Strictus' and complements the dark foliage in this grouping.
